Information from other sources
- Service providers such as Shopify, our email platform, and our review platform, which provide information about your orders, email engagement, and reviews.
- Advertising and analytics partners such as Google, Meta, and Pinterest, which may tell us how our ads performed.
We do not collect sensitive personal information such as health information, precise geolocation, or government ID numbers through the Services, and we ask that you not send it to us.

How We Share Personal Information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it in these situations:

- ShipStation and shipping carriers such as USPS and UPS (order fulfillment and delivery)

These partners collect information through cookies and pixels on our site, such as pages viewed, products added to cart, and purchases, to show you our ads elsewhere and measure their results.

- Our affiliated companies, including The GFB, which share our ownership, to operate our businesses.
- Business transfers: if we are involved in a merger, sale of assets, or similar transaction.
- Legal reasons: to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, or protect the rights, property, and safety of Hudson Henry, our customers, or others.
- With your direction or consent.
Targeted advertising ("sharing" and "selling")
Under some US state privacy laws, letting advertising partners collect information through cookies and pixels on our site for cross-context behavioral or targeted advertising counts as "sharing" or "selling" personal information, even though no money changes hands. The information involved is identifiers (such as cookie IDs, IP address, and hashed email), internet activity, and purchase information. You can opt out at any time on our Your Privacy Choices page or by turning on Global Privacy Control in your browser. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.
Our Relationship with Shopify
Our store is hosted by Shopify, which collects and processes personal information about your use of the Services to provide and improve its services. Information you submit may be shared with Shopify and third parties that may be located in other countries. Shopify may also use this information, along with information from other merchants, to provide enhanced features that help protect, grow, and improve our business. When it does, Shopify is responsible for that processing, including responding to requests to exercise your rights over it. To learn more, see the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy. Depending on where you live, you can exercise certain rights over this processing through Shopify's Privacy Portal.
Cookies, Pixels, and Tracking
Cookies are small files stored on your device. Pixels and tags are small pieces of code that tell a provider when a page loads or an action happens. We and our partners use them to:
- Make the site work: keep items in your cart, remember your choices, and support checkout and login. These are needed for the store to function.
- Understand site use: measure visits, popular products, and site performance (analytics).
- Advertise: show you relevant Hudson Henry ads on other sites and measure how they perform (advertising).
You can manage non-essential cookies through our cookie banner, your browser settings, or our Your Privacy Choices page. Blocking some cookies may affect how the site works. You can also opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on, and learn about interest-based ad choices at optout.aboutads.info.
Global Privacy Control: if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information for that browser. Because we can't always connect your browser to your account, also use our Your Privacy Choices page or contact us if you want the opt-out applied to your account.
Do Not Track: browsers' older "Do Not Track" setting has no common standard, so we do not respond to it. We do honor Global Privacy Control as described above.
Emails and Our Welcome Offer
When you join our email list, we use your email address to send you product news and offers. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also unsubscribe by contacting us. We will still send emails about your orders and subscriptions after you unsubscribe from marketing.
Notice of Financial Incentive
We offer a discount on your first order (currently 15% off, sent as a one-time code by email) when you sign up for our marketing emails. To take part, you enter your email address in our sign-up form and agree to receive marketing emails. The personal information involved is your email address and your email engagement with us. You can withdraw at any time by unsubscribing; any unused code may then no longer be honored.
We value the email address of a subscriber at roughly the value of the discount offered, based on the cost of the offer and the sales and marketing value we expect from email subscribers. You don't have to join the list to shop with us, and choosing not to join has no effect on prices or service otherwise available to you.
Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, including California and other US states with consumer privacy laws, you may have the right to:
- Know and access the personal information we have about you, and receive a copy in a portable format.
- Correct inaccurate personal information.
- Delete personal information we collected from you, subject to legal exceptions (for example, records we must keep for taxes).
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information and of targeted advertising, using our Your Privacy Choices page or Global Privacy Control.
- Opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in any email.
- Not be discriminated against for using these rights. We won't deny you products, charge you different prices, or give you a different level of service because you made a request.
We do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you, and we do not use personal information for profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
How to make a request: email contactus@hudsonhenrybakingco.com with "Privacy Request" in the subject line and tell us what you would like us to do. We will respond within the time the law requires, generally 45 days, and may extend that once where the law allows.
Verification: to protect your information, we will verify your identity before acting on access, correction, or deletion requests, usually by confirming you control the email address on your orders or account. Opt-out requests do not require verification.
Authorized agents: you may use an authorized agent to submit a request. We may ask the agent for proof of your permission and ask you to verify your identity directly with us.
Appeals: if we deny your request, you can appeal by replying to our decision or emailing contactus@hudsonhenrybakingco.com with "Appeal" in the subject line. We will respond to appeals within the time required by law. If you are not satisfied with the outcome, you may contact your state attorney general. California residents may also contact the California Privacy Protection Agency.
Children
The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information, and our checkout is handled by Shopify over encrypted connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so please don't send sensitive information to us by email.
How Long We Keep Information
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes in this policy:
- Order and transaction records: for as long as needed for customer service, returns, and our tax and accounting obligations, generally up to seven years.
- Marketing email data: until you unsubscribe, then only as needed to honor your unsubscribe.
- Reviews: while the review is published, or until you ask us to remove it.
- Analytics and advertising data: for the periods set by our analytics and advertising partners.
Where We Process Information
We ship within the United States, and we and our service providers process personal information in the United States. Some service providers may process information in other countries, with appropriate safeguards where required by law.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version here and change the "Last updated" date at the top. If we make material changes, we will provide additional notice as required by law.
